The fairgrounds are located at 1525 S. Cedar in Owatonna, MN.  Directions from I-35: Exit 40A to Hwy 14E and follow the fairgrounds signs.

Admission is FREE!  

The fair has been free since 1927 and is Minnesota's largest county fair.

On grounds parking is $5 daily.

No weekly passes are available.

Information stations are open daily from 10:00 AM - 9:00PM.  You can pick up judging schedules and fair information.

No Smoking on Steele County Free Fair grounds.

Scooters and wheelchair rentals available at the First Aid Station area in the Community Building and/or tent on Elm Ave starting at 10:30AM daily.  

Power Scooters:  $65/day

Wheelchairs:  $25/day

A free shuttle bus from downtown Central Park to the fair for noon lunch on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 

11:30AM  - 1:30PM

ATMs are located throughout the grounds.

 First Aid & Family Quiet Zone are available in the Community Center on the N end of Elm St.

For your safety, pets, bikes, scooters, and skateboards are not allowed on the grounds.
